CO-FOUNDER
Jon comes with over a decade of recruitment experience, starting in London before moving across the Atlantic to Los Angeles to set up the Cyber Security desk at LHi Group.
Jon’s helped everyone from TikTok, Fox, Skechers and iHerb to specialist consultancies, build world class Cyber Security programs across the US.
Outside of work, Jon is an avid Arsenal fan and you’ll usually find him at one of the local British Pubs watching the game!

John Hickles
They say that Jon’s are like London buses, they come in pairs!
Like Jon, John also has over a decade of recruitment experience originating in London prior to relocating to the US.
John’s career has also predominantly been in Cyber Security, specialising in helping start up to mid-sized consultancies grow and scale, particularly in the Security services industry.
Passionate about what he does, he has also partnered with military transition programs and industry governing bodies to help standardise recruitment and bring in new talent to the industry, as well as present, host and sponsor events & career centres.
Together, Jon & John, have had the fortune to host local meetups in the U.S. for both OWASP and ISSA.
In his spare time, you’ll find ‘Hickles’ bouncing from one hobby to the other and you’ll often find him at Crossfit, Jiu Jitsu… or watching an Arsenal game with Jon!!

Dan Mapstone
Dan is a recruitment leader with nearly a decade of experience building high-performing Software, Cloud & AI teams across the Europe and the United States.
He specialises in partnering with high-growth technology organisations, combining deep market expertise with a highly consultative, relationship-first approach.
Prior to joining The Robert James Group, Dan spent 9 years helping scale international tech organisations. From partnering with venture-backed startups and PE-backed scale-ups through to enterprise organisations undergoing complex transformation programme & AI implementations.
Now based in Nashville, Dan is focused on building long-term partnerships across the US tech ecosystem, connecting ambitious businesses with elite cloud and engineering talent. Known for his energy, strategic mindset, and challenger mentality, he brings both pace and precision to every search.
Outside of work you’ll find him in the Gym, playing soccer (the real football) or watching the Premier League
